Our Symbol

This is the sign of Infinity, When me and Matt first got together he would outline it on my palm with his finger, I think the name of it says it all really, It can mean different things to different people, To us it means never ending, it represents what we both have and that it doesn't matter what life throws at us ( and believe me its thrown alot!) we will always have each other.

The Proposal

Me and Matt have been together for 10 years, he proposed to me on our first anniversary. We were at his moms home (alone) and he sang Nick Carters " I Need You Tonight" to me, when he finished he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.
At that time neither of us were ready to actually tie the knot so we were very happy to stay engaged, but as the years rolled by I got very itchy for him to set a date but I didn't want to push it as there was still so much we wanted to do. Until a few weeks ago when we were having a conversation and I got too impatient. I asked him when we were going to set a date??? by this time, as I said, we had been together a decade lol. I think thats long enough (dont you? hehe!). So thats what we did, we went ahead and set the date. Matt wanted a September wedding and I love the autumn. I had to give him something he wanted because lets face it a wedding is the brides domain to plan and the groom just nods and hums and arrs on every question you ask him haha, but he has got involved in some aspects of the planning, and i have to say he is more enthusiastic than alot of grooms I've met, which I am very grateful for.

It is going to be a very traditional wedding with a few little quirks that resemble mine and Matts personality, Matt has needed to put his foot down on a few things I wanted already because they were a bit too quirky!!! like my doctor Marten white boots I wanted to walk down the aisle in lol. I have still settled for boots but a different kind, you will just have to wait until the day to find out though :-)

So that's a little description of how it all began.
Thanks for reading and I hope we see you at the wedding :-) xx

This is their local parish church, just around the corner from there present home.
They are really please to be having Christian wedding ceremony.
St Lawrences is a very pretty traditional church
